Operating with a cold wall system, the temperature remains in the range of -10 to 8 degrees Fahrenheit throughout the unit. It uses R-290 refrigerant to cool, which is a natural hydrocarbon that's safe for the environment.

To display the flavors being offered, the Turbo Air TIDC-26G-N ice cream freezer has a glass front and sides, and its interior is illuminated by bright LED lights. At the end of a shift, employees can pull down the night cover to protect contents from theft and contamination. This unit comes with PE-coated frost shields that are removable to rid the sides of built-up ice.
